The Painkiller

Dubbed the Painkiller, this drink does just that but not through the numbing effects of alcohol but through it’s delicious taste. The Painkiller resembles the Pina Colada in taste; however, it packs a much stronger punch due to it having rum in one serving. The presence of more rum also creates a smoother texture to the drink than its more sweet counterpart.

What you’ll need:

• 2 ½ oz Rum
• 1 oz Cream of coconut
• 1 oz orange juice
• 2 ½ oz pineapple juice

How to make it:

Now it’s time to make the painkiller. Don’t worry, it’s just a name and wont harm the maker of the drink (usually). We highly encourage a cocktail shaker but a blender will also suffice (make sure to not include the ice in the blender, because it will dilute your drink). These directions will assume you already are a badass at-home cocktail maker and have gone out to get the shaker.

1. Put all your ingredients into a shaker with ice.
2. Really shake this thing for about 20-30 seconds, or till you feel that the shaker is sufficiently chilled to your liking.
3. Strain into a tall glass (preferably chilled) unto fresh ice. The more crushed the ice is the better
4. You may choose to garnish the glass with a pineapple wedge to snack on as you enjoy your drink.
